The cards are each based on a Sanrio IP: Hello Kitty, Pompompurin, Little Twin Stars (Kiki and Lala), Cinnamoroll, My Melody, and Keroppi. As well as unlocking exclusive villagers, the cards also introduce a range of Sanrio furniture, clothing, and items. The Sanrio Animal Crossing amiibo cards came to the US for the first time earlier this year, and quickly sold out across retailers. Exclusive villagers included in the Sanrio card set, such as Chai and Rilla, aren't naturally available in the game, making these packs particularly sought-after. The AC Sanrio Collaboration packs, which add special themed Sanrio items and villagers, will also be getting a Target restock. The packs each include five regular villager cards and one special character card.
